What a treat to hike Mt. Pinos on New Years Day with two of my favorite hiking buddies.  The day was pretty frigid with mild winds.  Was saddened to hear that the hordes of crowds that filled the parking lot left the parking lot trashed.  Someone also stole the peak marker. Otherwise, the trail was amazing and I’m glad it was my first for 2019.
