No Muttins on Sutton

Sutton Mountain. Such a beautiful landscape. I left the house at 5 am to beat the heat. The drive from my location is about 1:40. I’d recommend getting an early start, as there isn’t much shade, or wait until the fall. Spring is nice, but often muddy. I mean really muddy. Clay gets caked onto your boots. It’s not fun. I didn’t see the local dog this time. Last year we took our pup, and the local dog joined us, as well as another dog. The other dog was old and didn’t make it that far. Both our pup and the local dog were exhausted at the end of the trek. I left my dog at home this time, and I assume the local pup was satisfied staying next to its food dish.
