Not just for wine lovers!

Great hike in the wine country! The drive there was just as relaxing and beautiful as the view from the summit. Stevenson Memorial Trail is well marked with wide fire roads. About two miles in you will turn left onto fire roads, this will lead you all the way up the summit.  Along the trail you can watch the rock climbers scale up the face of a large mountain. We got there at 9 am and there was plenty of parking, practically empty. But when we finished by 1, the lot was overflowing and busy. It was a clear day and we can see clear over to San Francisco Sales Force Tower, Mt Diablo, Lake County and all 360 degrees!
