(Not So) Hot Springs Mountain

The weather was perfect this weekend for a trek to Hot Springs Mountain. The sun was out but the cool breeze all day kept bugs away. We saw a fair amount of wildlife including a deer, mole, chipmunks, squirrels, various birds, lizards, but thankfully no snakes. The views along the route were  beautiful and still very lush. Little did I know the last climb to the summit, is an actual climb. Up a ladder and a very large rock with the help of ropes is where you’ll find the summit sign. All in all, it was a great day with some great friends.
