Nothing flat about flatiron

Flatiron is a very good workout, challenge and the views from the top were just over the top amazing ! Trail until the basin about the 2 mile marker is fine and well maintained. The climb really starts from the basin and today there was beautiful waterfall as well. Once you go up the basin it is steep climbing/scrambling all the way to the 10ft rock wall. Once you get past the rock wall it is a stroll to the summit. Please be aware that we saw a rattle snake on the trail while coming down today.
