Oak Grove Fireman/Trail Guide

Friendly Oak Grove Fireman directed us to the trail as we had trouble finding it (right behind the fire station ;-)) Chose a weekday to enjoy this long, quiet trek via High Point trail. In this case, the fire roads were good for the hike, since it was a ~14 mile excursion (including the walk from the parking lot to the trail). Enjoyed the picnic table at the summit for a brief lunch. Only encountered 2 other hiking groups on the way down. Same fireman checked in on our hike when we returned 🙂
