Oak Grove to High Point New Year’s day almost forgotten

I can’t believe I forgot to log my first hike of the New Year.  It was a great day and like others have said, this is a challenging hike.  Even more so, as back in January there was a lot more snow on the trail (miles) than I would have liked.  Don’t get me wrong, growing up in Maine but living in SoCal, seeing snow is a treat but spending hours hiking through does make for a challenge.  Overall a great hike and the views were well worth it.
