Oak Grove Trail to High Point

Great trail! First couple of miles are pretty steep but I enjoyed the challenge. There’s a small stretch near the end that is also a bit steep but it doesn’t last long. I enjoy these kinds of hikes since I can go all out at the beginning rather than several hours into it.

Pretty much no bugs and that wasn’t a problem whatsoever.

It was a bit cold and there was a light dusting of snow closer to the peak. It wasn’t dangerous nor slippery at the time and just added to the scenery.

I’ll definitely be looking to give this one a go again in the future. I liked the physical challenge without it being too much of a headache to navigate the trail itself.
