Oak Grove Trail to High Point

I really liked this hike! The first couple miles had a lot of incline (but not as difficult as Hot Spring in my opinion), but the rest of the hike was great. There was snow and ice covering the trail in some areas the last few miles which made it a little difficult and slowed us down. A couple people in our group slipped and fell so trekking poles or spikes may have been helpful, but we made it up and down the mountain without any of that gear with no injuries. I wasn’t expecting to see any snow so it was a pleasant surprise and put me in the holiday spirit. The trail was also a little muddy in some spots but great overall.
