This year the organizers only supported till the 1/2 way point as there was a chance of thundershowers.  Our group split in 2 with some going up Ammonoosuc while I took the slower group up Jewell.  We evaluated the weather and our pace at the half way point and decided to press on.  Bothe groups met at the summit within 15 minutes of each other.  Not a view in site but still a win. The wind was pretty fierce but it was nice to have bathroom facilities and hot chocolate available at the peak.  Due to the thunderstorm forecast we decided to ride down and crammed 9 people into a Tacoma double cab. We looked like a clown car unloading at the bottom!  # 4/6!  Now if the weather holds we will be finished soon.  #NHSneakerBrigade #Forwardisapace
