O’Leary Lookout

It could’t have been a more beautiful day to summit O’Leary Peak! It’s a steady climb with a pretty steep last half-mile or so.  It was a really windy day and even windier atop the tower. We stayed up on the tower for just a few minutes because the wind was just so strong and ate a quick lunch at the summit. Even though it is “just a road” I loved this hike. It was a good workout, we felt great, and the views were spectacular all the way up and down.
