Great weather in Flagstaff for a hike however the Arizona sun can fool you even on a cooler day, as there is not much coverage on this open road trail. The area at the top near the fire tower is pleasantly surprising with some shaded area and cool craggy rocks. Beautiful views of the Bonita Lava flow and Humphrey’s peak.
