This is one serious hike, a true butt kicker!  We were out there for 8 hours.  VERY steep, very slow going.  We did an out and back.  Make sure you go when you have daylight and do not go when it is hot.  We had great weather.  We could sort of see snow capped mountains.  Bring plenty of water.
