One down, five to go

Started the hike at 7:12am – cool morning, plenty of hikers. Trail in good shape except for the last 3 miles up – it was stubbornly uphill with no relief. The cosmic cafe picnic area was surprisingly warm, switched shirts and hiked down in a short sleeve. Don’t like downhill – pace matched the uphill.
