One More Strawberry

This was my 1st real hike of 2026. It was tough for me even (pretty much 7 miles) though I completed it in 2 hours. The weather here was awesome for early March with clear sunny sky in the 70s and awesome. The trail was nice and not too crowded with some people there but not overwhelming and being able to have some piece of mind.

Having sped thru the 1st 2.5 miles I got a reality check with the last 1 mile & 1000 feet of elevation gain. But this is what it is all about and you stay focused and keep going and you eventually reach the multiple false peaks before you reach the final peak.

The views were awesome with the view of all of the mountains around you and view of Downtown LA. This is a good hike to prepare you for the big one such as Baden Powell and/or Mount Baldy.
