I really think that Falling Waters and Old Bridal are two of the most difficult trails in the Whites. And that’s saying something! They are steep, slick and the granite is relentless! But. The views from the ridge are spectacular. There is a reason why this loop is so popular and its 100% because of the 2 miles of Ridgeline between Haystack and Lafayette. It is simply gorgeous.
Most difficult of the 6pack by far for me(I personally think this loop is harder than half the trails on Washington).
