Only A Linguistic Folly

Mount Diablo has its fair share of steep inclines and tons of exposure to the sun, but after hiking Mount Sizer it felt like a piece of cake. Going up Eagle Peak, then getting to look back at it amongst all the lower land all day is incredibly satisfying. And having the Mount Diablo Visitor Center near the halfway point through the hike from Mitchell Canyon was an awesome way to chill out for a minute. A cold soda for $2 was well worth it during lunch, and you can refill your water after.
