Ontario – Last Peak!

We overnighted most of the peaks to keep the mileage do-able for the entire family so doing Ontario in a day was a challenge for the young trekker. He did great and we were happy not to have a heavy pack.

During the challenge I most enjoyed these peaks in San Gabriel Mtns because it was an area we haven’t explored much. We will return!

Ontario via Ice House was crowded early Saturday AM. Once we reached the saddle, the number of people dropped and it was beautiful. It felt a bit easier than Cucamonga.
