The trail was snow free all the way to Ice House Canyon Saddle. We needed micro spikes and poles passed the saddle as the trail was covered in snow. About a mile away from the summit the snow was up to 4 feet high and that made it a little more challenging as you needed to watch every single step you made. The weather couldn’t be any better. It wasn’t windy and it was a beautiful sunny day ????????
