Trail was in excellent condition and weather was perfect. Arrive by 6am, it’s a must for parking. This was actually a really beautiful hike and if you start early, mostly shaded for ideal hiking conditions. The tree is pretty epic, quite the sight! Loved the Ontario Peak hike and the saddle made for a great break for a snack or lunch. Hiking poles have been a must on all the peaks, they really help a lot on the descend to prevent falling as it gets slippery in some of the gravel type areas.
