Did the beautiful and challenging Ontario Peak, about 13.2 miles! This one HURT. Icehouse Canyon is not to be underestimated, the hike the bowl is killer, which I learned last year doing Cucamonga. The main villain of the day was a new pair of hiking boots that were fine in an earlier test run, but proved to be absolutely not the right shoe for me pretty early in the day. We did it, but I was stumbling to the car by the end of the day. VERY excited to do this hike plus Bighorn Peak with adequate shoes and be able to enjoy it even more. Regardless of the foot pain, this is such a beautiful hike and I love the approach to the peak.
