Ontario Peak

Excellent day to tackle Ontario Peak. Weather started in the 50’s and rose only to the 60’s. Plenty of shade starting early at 7:30 Am, but much more exposed on the way down. Hike is definitely a leg burner but doable for anyone with some decent hiking skills. Trekking poles were a good idea as there are some big step ups/downs. With extra time and legs/lungs, great trail to tackle some other peaks while you’re up there. Great day overall!
