Ontario Peak Backpacking Adventure

For our last two peaks for the challenge, Steven and I decided to have our first backpacking adventure and take on Ontario peak and Cucamonga for our last Hoorah! We’ve done Cucamonga before so the trail to the saddle was familiar, once we started up to Ontario the scenery was so pretty it really gave me the extra boost of motivation to complete the days journey.When we made it to the top it had been a long day and it was extremely windy, so we stayed just long enough to take pictures and we ventured back to to our camp site. The view of the sunset on that peak was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.

We had just enough sunlight left to set up camp, The first day of backpacking was a success!
