Ontario Peak from Icehouse Canyon Trailhead (The Last of the SoCal 2025 Six Pack of Peaks)

A good hike, though I had to go yet again through the Icehouse Canyon to Icehouse Saddle part again!  The Saddle is the gateway to many of these peaks and there is little that can be done to avoid it.  After the 3.75 mile hike to the Saddle, which is a steady and at times steep uphill, and a quick rest at the Saddle, I continued to the Peak and did not stay there long so that I don’t return in the dark as I had to do a few days earlier returning from Cucamonga peak.
