Ontario Peak kick my butt

I did Cucamonga peak two weeks ago and it HURT. ???? I got an unexpected day off today so I decided to do Ontario Peak. It was easy-“ER” but still hard. Maybe because I started at 9a and it got hot. It took me 5 hours. Of HELL. I have to admit, I was hauling down. Made me realize how much I hate these hikes. I’m planning on doing Whitney again in Sept. WHY, I don’t know. After you peak that, you’d think you’d be over it ????‍♂️???? Don’t let the photo fool you. I didn’t look that happy when I got down. AND to top it off, parking lot was full since I was starting late. Walking up the grade to my truck felt like a death march.  ????
