Ontario Peak on a fall day

Got one of the last parking spots in Icehouse Canyon parking lot at just after 6:15 am. The trees in the lower canyon had turned, making it very beautiful to hike past. A large group was resting at the saddle, so I cut my break short to get ahead of them, as they were also heading to Ontario Peak. The day was cool, it was not until reaching the ridgeline, did I peel off my light fleece. Beat most of the group to the summit, snapped my photos, and took a well earned break. Cruised down, stopping only to let others continue up. Nice way to finish my 6 Pack!
