I hike icehouse in July 2020 and had to turn back at the saddle as I was too tuckered out.
this time, I got to the saddle and felt great! So this was a big hiking progress milestone for me.
put spikes on at the saddle and took my ice axe off my pack. To Kelly camp it was all snow and beautiful. Past Kelly camp the trail was not well defined and lots of random tracks abound. Trail was very hard to follow and there was lots of post holing. Very tough and gorgeous with the snow and wildly satisfying to reach the peak !
