Overcast Mount Mansfield

It was an overcast wet day but the ascent to the summit was a nice hike with some fun rock scrambling. The summit was windy and unfortunately, we were socked in by clouds so not much of view. The descent, however, for me, was challenging. We got caught in some heavy rain on the way down for about 10-15 minutes which made for some slippery and precarious hiking at times – having to descend and scramble down slick wet rocks. Would like to go back when the weather is clear and see the views.
