Palm Springs 100, Jacinto 50’s with wind

A beautiful day on San Jacinto.  First tram was already full when I got there at 7:30.  So had to go on the 8:10 second tram.

Temperature in Palm Springs 100’s.  Temp at the top of the tram 59.  Add in the 30+ MPH winds, and it was a cold hike up the mountain.

Trail is in great shape.  No downed trees or branches.  Trail is easy to follow.

Not too busy overall.  A few hikers, lot’s of campers, and boulder climbers.

Tram going down was half empty which is a first.  Especially on a Saturday.
