Palomar/High Point

Started at 8:30am. It was a chilly morning bit had the additional layers off in the 1st 2 miles. The first couple of miles are a little grueling (steep & rocky)but after the rain we had a couple of days ago their wasn’t as much gravel as other trails have. After the first 2 an a half miles of this it got better. There were a couple of false peaks but once you see high point tower you know you’re almost there.  The peak was breezy & had a great view.
