Palomar High Point is done!!!

Beautiful hike.  A very long day.  First two miles were steep and rocky.  After that the trail became a fire road.  Some areas of ice, slush and mud.  Not enough to require microspikes but good shoes and poles were extremely helpful on the slippery ice. On the way back those last two miles of steep, rocky trail were treacherous. I slipped once without injury luckily.
