Great hike to the peak from the Hunter Trail. Bring gloves you will need them to grip the cables. We arrived at 7:30am and we only had to wait a few minutes on the way down. I’ve driven past Picacho Peak many times on my way down to Tucson and this is the first time hiking it. We’ll do it again in the Spring to see the wildflowers.
