Been up there numerous times and never made the actual summit.  When you get to the view that everyone stops at make a left turn and follow the ridge another 100 yds to the sign!

    Any issues with part of the trail near the top being in a State Wildlife Area? I remember that you need a permit so was thinking of doing it a way that avoids that section.

      There’s no issue. It’s a pretty well traveled path. It’s a good way to go up and if you want could come down the other direction and make a big loop
