Those who have done it know that Monadnock is all rock – for a novice hiker it was a challenge! Super hot day, and super crowded- all ages and a variety of abilities represented. Serious jelly legs going down-must strengthen quads before I tackle this one again! There’s something about that mountain…not huge, but so beautiful – an intimate and intense walk with Mother Nature. Sadly, some trash at the peak…need to work on our Leave No Trace skills! ????
