Fabulous Friday hike! I also started last year’s SoCal Challenge with Strawberry Peak. It was nice to do it on a weekday this year because we had the trail almost to ourselves. There were patches of snow and lots of downed trees on the trail but nothing that needed any special expertise to get around. This trail is definitely on the less challenging side and is always a good one to start with.
