Get to the trailhead early!  Parking can get full quickly on a nice day.  We got there at 7:30 am and there was plenty of spaces available.  The trail to the summit was mostly on a fire road, wide open and lots of sun!  Wild flowers were still in bloom too.  Beautiful view from the top and a perfect place for lunch. Made the 10 miles in about 4 1/4 hours.
