Perfect Weather Hike!

Our group was a little worried as we were driving as the clouds were low and it was drizzling most of the way. At about 4000′, we broke through the low lying clouds and it was sunshine and 50+ degrees! Absolutely gorgeous views of the cloud filled valleys as we made our way up the fire road. Views at the top were obscured with the clouds beautiful none the less. Lots of wildflowers beginning to bloom. The winds were not bad and the bees were buzzing but did not bother us. Lots of pretty birds along the way and we saw turkey on our drive back to the highway.
