Perfect day to hike! Took advantage of a cooler day nestled between the heat. At the saddle on the way up, we stopped to chat with some visitors from CA when a swarm of bees (must have been thousands as it was like a dark cloud) passed right through the group. So amazing, but having it happen only once in my lifetime would be fine with me!! They didn’t harm us, just flew on by.
