And that’s a wrap of the Winter Challenge … I had hiked this before and easily forgot the technical portions. From the start … the heart rate climbs. After the Saddle, this is where my “fear” kicked in with the downhill with cables. After that section, there is more Technical climbing but not bothered as much. Very thankful for the well placed cables.

We started by 7:45 on a Saturday…quiet parking lot. On our descent, trail started getting busy…thankful for the early start.
