Piestewa Peak with my son

Great sunny afternoon for a hike. Temps in the low 60’s with winds kicking in at the summit and the hike down seemed cooler.  My son coaxed me into the challenge and said I would do it if we did it together.  I enjoyed spending a few hours with him and chatting along the way.  When I wanted to stop to catch my breath my son kept telling me to push on “it’s all mental, keep going”.  That’s what happens when you hike with someone 40 years younger than you!  It was all good and we had a nice hike together.
