Piestewa Pk.

The phenomenal weather beckoned, so the hiking continued with Piestewa Pk. as a follow-up to Camelback Mtn.  Familiar, but always wonderful, a smaller group of hikers followed the steep trail to ever-expanding, tremendous views.  The short, fun scramble led to the top and more marvelous vistas of the many surrounding ranges and peaks, including Camelback Mtn. from earlier in the day.  The aerie perch provided a welcome opportunity for some contemplation and reflection.

The trail is well-maintained and in good condition.  There were plenty of parking spaces to accommodate the Thursday hikers.
