Pilchuck Amusement park

we arrived at mount pilchuck around 7;30 in the morning and the parking lot was already getting full. The trail up was beautiful when you ignored all the people and their speakers playing. Once at the top the lookout was amazing and after standing in line as if to ride a ride, we were able to get on the platform to enjoy it all. We sat on a near by rock and ate lunch and by the time we finished there was an a line of 15 people to get up and the way down was even busier. The best part about the hike was the glissading on the way down. There were these long shoots you could slide down that felt like you were on a water slide. Once we got back to the parking lot it was around 1 oclock. The way out was so busy the road became one way and we got stuck in a traffic jam for 30 minutes. If you are going to do this hike make sure it is a sunrise hike to make it really enjoyable.
