Plan B

Our planned hike out to Collins and Knob Benchmarks for my Sierra Club San Diego Peaks 89/90 was aborted due to a closed gate, so instead we opted to hike up to Palomar High Point via Oak Grove. Figure if we can’t work on one list, work on another… This would be the first peak on the Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge for me. A little chilly at the summit and some minor muddy spots, but a fun hike. Did the 13+ miles in just under 6 hours.
