Pole Pole

Pole, Pole. (po-lay) That was my goal. Slow and steady. The weather was beautiful on Labor Day. A fair amount of traffic early morning on a holiday weekend. On trail by 6:30. Done by noon, as it looked as though some clouds were headed our way. A lot of friendly people on the trail. The trail is a little tough on the feet as there are several exposed tree roots and plenty of rocks throughout the hike. At about 3.5 miles in, the steepness kicks in and you will start to feel the elevation.
