Potato Chip

I usually run this trail when I’m training for an ultramarathon, but instead I decided to hike the trail with my friend. We did the hike around 4pm, and the weather was pretty hot when we started. The hike took just under 3 hours total. The trail is somewhat on the steeper side with a good amount of 20-25% grade. It’s pretty much all incline up and decline down. It can get a little rocky in the second part of the hike, but it smoothens out near the top. There is always a line to take a photo on the actual potato chip rock. If you don’t want to wait for any lines, I suggest maybe doing the hike early in the morning t0 avoid the crowd.
