Potato Chip Rock

Started this hike and there was light rain to begin with at around 8:44 AM and we were done at 11:43 AM … still pretty decent weather once we continued on. I haven’t done a hike in rain, this was a first for me, but it wasn’t bad, I actually enjoyed the beginning of the hike in rain. Didn’t realize when I went to do this hike that it was part of the 6 peak challenge. This trail I took definitely had more incline, but it was totally worth it. Took breaks here and there because of the elevation, but all in all it wasn’t too bad. I felt good. Once we got to the top it was amazing. There was a couple hikers up there. By the time we were done and heading back down, there was a lot more people coming up to “potato chip.” Really glad we got started early to beat the crowds.
