I hiked this trail with my husband and our dog.  We started at about 7:30 and it was not too crowded for a holiday weekend.  The potato chip photo area did have a line and I was too scared to jump to the chip but my husband did it.  It was a nice climb with views of the lake.  Bring lots of water, it was a hot one!
