Potato Chip Rock… Am I a San Diegan Yet?

I’ve lived in San Diego for about 10 years now and I’ve heard of tons of people doing this hike. Honestly, that’s why I hadn’t done it before today. I’m not a fan of heavily trafficked trails with loud people all around and that’s what I figured this was going to be like. But, since this is part of the Six Pack of Peaks now, I decided to finally do it!

I’m glad I did it. It was a very nice hike, with rewarding views. It’s supposed to rain today and we left really early, so that may have helped with the crowds a bit. Although, when we were leaving there was A LOT of people waiting to take pictures at Potato Chip Rock.
