Powerful Picacho

Great hike! We arrived at 7:30am and it was the perfect time to start. The parking lot had plenty of spaces and the sun was just beginning to light up the mountain. There was very little traffic going up but we passed a lot of hikers on the way down. When we finished about 10am the parking lot was full with cars parked all the way down the street.

The hike is mostly straight up, with a break in the saddle when you decline before going back up again. Bring gloves for the cables!
