Trying to stay young at heart & mind and decided it was a good time to summit one of the SPoP before I turn 50! Took the route up by the Ski Hut and returned down Register Ridge…that was hardcore; so much loose gravel and my legs were like cooked spaghetti noodles. I may attempt this hike once more and want to try Devil’s Backbone, a longer route but seems like it might be more forgiving than going down Register Ridge.
